[DA:CHART] iKON, No. 1 in Weekly Charts For 3 Consecutive Weeks… Also Tops Real-Time Charts For 26 Days
[동아닷컴=홍세영 기자] iKON is continuing to set milestones by being placed at no. 1 in weekly charts for 3 consecutive weeks, while dominating real-time charts for 26 days.
According to various weekly charts revealed on the 19th, iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ topped weekly charts in 7 music streaming platforms, including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Soribada, Olleh, Naver, and Monkey 3.
iKON’s achievements with the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ are remarkable. It became the first boy-group song to top weekly charts for 3 consecutive weeks since BIGBANG’s ‘LAST FAREWELL’, released back in 2008. The record is a tie with BIGBANG’s ‘FXXK IT’, which was released back in 2016 and topped weekly charts for 3 consecutive weeks as well.
Furthermore, as of February 19, 3 PM, the song is firmly maintaining its no. 1 spot in 5 different real-time charts, including Melon, Mnet, Genie, Olleh, and Naver.
In other words, iKON’s remarkable achievements are not only positioning iKON into an untouchable boy-group status, but are also setting milestones in K-POP history.
