D-1 Before New Single Release, Will There Be An ‘iKON VS iKON’ Competition
[스포츠서울=최민지 기자] While there will be a new single release tomorrow, iKON (B.I, JAY, BOBBY, JU-NE, DK, CHAN) are still dominating music charts with their song, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
As of March 4, 10 AM, the title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ from iKON’s 2nd official album is at no. 1 in all 8 real-time charts in platforms including Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Olleh, Soribada, Naver, and Monkey 3. With the song’s current popularity, it’s hard to believe that the song was released 39 days ago.
Furthermore, as iKON’s new single ‘RUBBER BAND’ will be released on the 5th, people are already paying keen attention on what kind of changes the song will bring into music charts. YG’s representative producer, YANG HYUN SUK, previously released part of the chorus through his Instagram on March 2. Although it was only a short preview, people are expecting the song to have addictive melodies one can remember just by hearing it once, as ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ did.
With the continuous popularity of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, iKON is continuing their active promotion in Korea. They will perform ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ today (4th), and will hold their first official private fan-meeting in Korea, ‘PRIVATE STAGE’, in Olympic Hall on the upcoming 11th.
