‘YG TREASURE BOX’ Debut Group Members Reduced From 6→5 People… ‘A Fierce Battle on Its Way’
[매일경제 스타투데이=이다겸 기자] The path towards making debut as YG’s next generation boy group on ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ is getting fiercer.
Today(31st) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the preview for the 8th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ through their official blog.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK announced, “We’ll start a competition to select the Treasure 5”, notifying that the number of members will be reduced from 6 to 5. Members of WINNER appeared as special coaches, which also notified that a fierce competition is about to begin.
On the situation that one of the Treasures had to leave the debut group, BANG YE DAM revealed his pitiful thoughts by stating, “I really don’t like this situation. That one person has to leave”. LEE BYOUNG GON shed tears with the 6 Treasures while stating, “What doesn’t work won’t work”, and KEITA slurred his words while stating “This performance…”, raising the viewers’ curiosities.
In addition, the trainees heard the news regarding the demotion and a Treasure returning to his spot as a regular trainee, which also raised the fans’ curiosities.
Lastly, WINNER re-appeared as special coaches for an interim check prior to the final play-off. WINNER criticized BANG YE DAM who kept on missing the beat and going out of tune by stating, “I don’t know what I just saw… Are you guaranteed that you won’t be degraded from here?”, which raised the tension of the scene.
The 8th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ will pre-release through VLIVE next year on January 4th at 10 PM and broadcast through JTBC2 and YouTube on the same night at 12 AM.
