YG TREASURE’s ‘MMM’ Placed at the ‘Top Ranks’ of Major Japanese Music Charts for 4 days… Rapidly Rising MV Views
[OSEN=김은애 기자] YG rookie group TREASURE’s new Hip-hop single ‘MMM’ is maintaining its top ranks on Japanese music charts for 4 consecutive days and is steadily popular on various global charts.
TREASURE’s title song ‘MMM’ from their third single album was ranked at no. 2 on the Top 100 chart of Line Music, which is Japan’s biggest music platform, as of November 10 at 6 AM. Considering that they are a K-Pop rookie group who has made debut only 4 months ago and has never had local activities among top artists, their success is remarkable.
TREASURE’s popularity stands out in Japan and other countries overseas. TREASURE’s ‘MMM’ was ranked at no. 1 on the Top 100 chart of Line Music, which is one of Japan’s biggest music platforms, as soon as the song was released. The song also topped Rakuten Music’s Real-time Comprehensive Rankings. The song moved around from no. 1~no. 4 for 4 days on both charts, proving its steady popularity.

With the global fans’ attention, the MV for ‘MMM’ also surpassed 10M views in approximately 72 hours since its release on the 9th. As introduced as a boy group born targeting the global market from the start, their results show that TREASURE’s popularity is expanding from the overseas market.
