TREASURE Selected as Brand Ambassadors for the First Time
[일간스포츠=황지영 기자] Group TREASUARE was selected as brand ambassadors for the first time since making debut.
On January 22, YG Entertainment revealed, “TREASURE signed an ambassador deal with cosmetics brand ‘Manyo Factory”. TREASURE will now be active as the models of the ‘Manyo Factory’ brand and its flagship skincare products.
‘Manyo Factory’ revealed, “We hope the bright, positive, and energetic images of TREASURE members will lead the brand to a positive direction”. They added, “We will strengthen our global brand presence through TREASURE, who receive support from their global fandom through unbelievable talent as a rookie group”.
Under YG’s fast·concentrated strategy, TREASURE made debut last year on August and achieved successful results such as surpassing a total of 1M in accumulated album sales with ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series. 26% of the total album sales took place in Korea and Japan respectively, 20% in Southeast Asian countries, 15% in China, 8% in Europe, and 3% in Northern America, proving the group’s broad popularity spectrum.
TREASURE’s official debut album and its title song ‘MY TREASURE’ has topped the real-time charts of major Japanese music platforms as well as being ranked at no. 1 on Gaon Chart’s Albums Chart for the 3rd week of January 2021(2021.01.10~2021.01.16). Furthermore, the song ‘MY TREASURE’ was also ranked at no. 1 on Japan Rakuten Music’s Weekly Chart.
