YG TREASURE Meets With Fans From 100 Countries…First Meeting Filled With Tears And Joy “Looking Forward to Comeback”
[OSEN=선미경 기자] With their overwhelming stage presence and strong live skills, group TREASURE lived up to their title of being ‘YG’s mega rookie’, exciting fans from 100 different countries around the world with their performance.
TREASURE successfully wrapped up ‘TREASURE 1ST PRIVATE STAGE [TEU-DAY]’ held at Olympic Hall in Bangi-dong Seoul on the 2nd which was broadcast both offline and online simultaneously.
Fans showed great manners following the government’s COVID-19 prevention measures such as staying in designated seats, making it a meaningful day for both TREASURE MAKERS and TREASURE who showed great passion and excitement towards the event.
#Legendary performances which resembled a concert
TREASURE members filled the 120 minute running time with a total of 7 songs which consisted of title songs from the 4 ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series album, track songs, and fan songs. They also prepared various segments for fans.
TREASURE’s teen-crush charms exploded in the event. Every single moment was memorable but the climax was the stage for ‘BOY’ and ‘MMM’. Their synchronized dance moves were further highlighted by laser lights and gunfire effects, taking over the eyes and ears of audiences. In particular, the way they danced like one on the first and second floor was truly breathtaking.
TREASURE’s vocal skills also stood out even while they were dancing intense moves. All 12 members used hand-mics to present a vibrant live performance and performed high pitched ad-libs along with rough yet speedy rap skills. It was where audiences and viewers could estimate TREASURE’s extraordinary musical capabilities and their potential to grow even further as an artist.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way fans chant. Instead of screaming and yelling out, fans cheered up the atmosphere by stomping their feet and clapping their hands. Although they couldn’t scream out from the top of their longs, synchronized body movements were just enough to feel that both TREASURE and TREASURE MAKERS are sharing the same heart.
The surprise event prepared by fans touched the members’ heart. After the ‘SLOWMOTION’ stage was over, the lights suddenly turned off and online fans started singing together through the back screen. The venue was filled with blue lights as fans used the official light stick ‘Tright’ to cheer along.
TREASURE was startled by the fan’s sudden singing, but they soon realized it was an event prepared by TREASURE MAKERs for them and got teary. CHOI HYUN-SUK couldn’t stop his tears and members comforted him saying “We really wanted to hear your voices. It’s so touching and we’re very happy”, expressing how they feel.

The ‘Private Stage’ was such a meaningful time for both TREASURE and fans, as it was their first official opportunity to meet each other after a year since their debut. As they were so desperate for this moment, TREASURE members gifted a memorable day to fans and kept thanking them for waiting for them.
They also hinted on a comeback. TREASURE said “We will come back as soon as we can with high-quality music”. They also added “Please look forward to the future TREASURE will draw. We will come back in a great way soon”.
After finishing off their encore song “EVERYDAY”, a ‘COMING SOON SEE YOU THERE’ message got put up on a transparent acrylic blackboard, raising curiosity. The phrase ‘1ST OOOOOOO’ also came up, making fans look forward to what waits for them next.
