TREASURE’s ‘“IF I” Music Video Surpasses 50 Million Views Just a Week After Release
[머니투데이=박기영 기자] YG Entertainment announced that the music video for its group TREASURE’s latest track, “IF I”, surpassed 50 million views on YouTube at around 3 a.m. on June 8. Achieving this milestone in just six days and nine hours after its release, it marks the fastest pace among all music videos TREASURE has released to date.
YG Entertainment stated that its strategy targeting the global market proved effective, as “IF I” is TREASURE’s first title track composed entirely of English lyrics since their debut.
On the 6th, the group also performed the song on a music show. TREASURE delivered a flawless live performance with handheld microphones, even amid dynamic group choreography. In addition, the “IF I” dance challenge is rapidly spreading across various social media platforms.
TREASURE made their comeback on June 1 with their 4th mini-album, which marks the first time since their debut that an album consists entirely of hip-hop tracks.
Meanwhile, TREASURE is a 10-member multinational boy group that debuted in August 2020.
