TAEYANG unveils ‘1 AM’ at his first American concert
[아시아경제 최준용 기자] At 10:15 a.m. (American time) on Nov 26, TAEYANG will unveil his new song ‘1 AM’ at his first solo concert in America, held in San Francisco.
TAEYANG will be unveiling his new song ‘1 AM’ when he meets with local fans at San Francisco’s BIMBO’S 365 club when THE MUSIC EXPERIMENT 2.0 is held, jointly hosted with MTV IGGY and Intel.
Unlike his pervious songs that are relatively mellow and sentimental, TAEYANG’s latest song ‘Ringa Linga’ was a song of powerful rap and vocal. So expectation is high to see what he has ready for the fans this time with his upcoming song.
With the new song ‘1 AM’, TAEYANG will be showcasing his other hit songs ‘Only Look At Me’, and ‘I Need a Girl’. He will be joined by the band who accompanied BIGBANG for their World Tour.
BIGBANG has held concerts in New Jersey and Los Angels before, but it is the first for TAEYANG to hold one by himself in the States.
MUSIC EXPERIMENT was first launched in 2012 by Intel, and this year marks its 2nd anniversary. Australia’s electronic group EMPIRE OF THE SUN, England’s newly emerging electronic duo DISCLOSURE, and the world renowned 2011 Grammy Awards’ ‘Album of the Year’ awardee ARCADE FIRE had previously performed in New York, Boston and L.A for the event.
TAEYANG, by partaking in this year’s MUSIC EXPERIMENT 2.0, does not only stand shoulder to shoulder with global stars, but will be performing the finale stage. He is already arousing much attention for this.
At the San Francisco performance, CHOICE 37, YG’s producer who composed BIGBANG’s ‘Bad Boy’ and G-DRAGON’s ‘One of a Kind’ will also be present as a guest.
TAEYANG’s concert in San Francisco can be watched in South Korea on Nov 27 at 3.15 p.m. through the online real-time streaming at http://www.musicexperiment.com/city/san-francisco.
The performance can also be viewed again on musicexperiment.com from Dec 23. And through MTV’s sister channel Palladia, the show will be repeatedly played after its first airing at 9 p.m. (East time standard) on Dec 20.
