CHA SEUNG WON Appears in “You’re All Surrounded” “I’ll Show a Good Acting”
[OSEN=임영진 기자] Actor CHA SEUNG WON returns to the TV screen after three years of break, to appear in SBS channel’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama series “You’re All Surrounded” (working title). He said he will show a good acting.
On the 26, CHA SEUNG WON said through his agent YG Entertainment, “I’m very excited and pleased to work with the best producing staff in Korea. As I appear on TV after a long break, I’ll do my best to live up to viewers’ expectations with a good acting”.
CHA has recently confirmed his appearance in “You’re All Surrounded”, to come back to the TV screen three years after “The Greatest Love” in 2011.
He acts as “Seo Pan Seok”, the head of violent crimes team 2 of police’s criminal affairs division. Seo Pan Seok is the best detective and an outstanding violent crime expert, who is scouted to the criminal affairs division of Gangnam-gu Police Office at the beginning of the drama series, by the chief of the police station who was looking for a young and disinterested leader. He is a dirty-sexy and hot-tempered macho man, but an enthusiastic detective who always thinks about his cases.
“You’re All Surrounded” will be aired after “Three Days”, a TV series that will begin on March 5. “You’re All Surrounded” is a police drama that features the growth and romance of young police officers of Gangnam-gu Police Office. It’s about the growth of four first-year detectives who have never imagined of being a detective and the chief of the violent crimes team, the best detective both in reality and in name, who becomes the mentor of those four rookies.
“You’re All Surrounded” is drawing a big attention even before it is aired, for it is the first collaboration between producer Yoo In Sik, who has produced SBS channel’s drama “Giant”, “History of a Salaryman”, and “Incarnation of Money”, and TV dramatist Lee Jung Sun, who has written the script of MBC channel’s “Be Strong Geum-soon!”, SBS channel’s “Surgeon Bong Dal-hee”, and KBS 2TV’s “Ojakgyo Family”.
