PSY Shoots Music Video for “Daddy” with the director of “Gangnam Style”

According to a music insider as of the 22 this month, PSY has recently been working for his new album in Korea, discussing ideas for the music video of his new song “DADDY” with director Cho Soo Hyun, who directed the music video of “GANGNAM STYLE” and “GENTLEMAN”. He will set a detailed schedule for the shooting, as soon as planning discussions are completed.
Another music insider said, “The music video of ‘DADDY’ will bear PSY’s unique humor and wit. The members of ‘Infinite Challenge’ and singer Hyunah in ‘GANGNAM STYLE’, as well as Ga-in in ‘GENTLEMAN’ created sensation as cameo stars, with their comic or sexy scenes. I expect that the music video of “DADDY” will touch viewers, because the new song talks about the relationship between a father and son, as the title itself shows.
The collaboration between PSY and director Cho Soo Hyun is further heightening the expectations for the music video of “DADDY”.
That is because the music video of “GANGNAM STYLE” and “GENTLEMAN” for which the two worked together have achieved 2 billion views and 700 million views respectively, on YouTube.
The music video of PSY’s recently-released song “HANGOVER” featured by SnoopDogg was directed by Cha Eun Taek. The music video has garnered 100 million views on YouTube as of the 22 this month.
