AKMU Proves to be Powerful Artists with “Time and Fallen Leaves,” Sustaining No.1 seat of Music Charts for 3 Consecutive Days
[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG Entertainment(YG)’s brother-sister duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (or AKMU) is dominating the No. 1 on real-time charts of seven different music-streaming websites for three consecutive days with their new song “Time and Fallen Leaves.”
On the 10 this month, AKMU unveiled their new song “Time and Fallen Leaves” was revealed, and as of 8 a.m. Oct. 12 (Korea local time), AKMU is currently topping six major music charts including Melon, Olleh Music, Ginie, Bugs, and NAVER Music, once again proving their true musical talents.
“Time and Fallen Leaves,” composed and written by LEE CHAN HYUK, is a hidden track that was not included in AKMU’s debut album “PLAY” in April. The poetic lyrics, added with AKMU’s tender vocals, are especially impressive, making it the perfect song to be listening to for the fall season.
As such, AKMU has made the No. 1 list for all of the songs that they released, including the self-written songs that were showcased during SBS’ survival audition program K-POP STAR Season 2.
Along with AKMU, KIM DONG RYUL’S “How I am,” Ailee’s “Don’t Touch Me,” and Soyu x Urban Zakapa’s “The Space Between” have made the top list of music charts.
