iKON got triple crown on Gaon chart upon their debut
[텐아시아=이은호 기자] Group iKON took a triple crown on Gaon chart upon their debut with “MY TYPE”.
According to Korea’s official music chart Gaon on the 24 this month, iKON’s “MY TYPE” took the No.1 on the digital chart, download chart, and streaming chart for the 39th week of the year 2015 (Sep. 13 to Sep. 19), taking a triple crown.
FLY TO THE SKY’s “It Happens to be That Way” took the second place on the chart, followed by Red Velvet’s “Dumb Dumb” in the third place; Park Myung-Soo and IU’s “Leon” in the fourth place; and SONG MINHO’s “GUP” (feat. TAEYANG) in the fifth place.
Super Junior’s “MAGIC – SUPER JUNIOR SPECIAL ALBUM PART.2” took the No.1 on the album chart.
In Gaon social chart which is the benchmark for the level of K-pop stars’ global popularity, Seventeen’s “Hooray” took the No.1. In Gaon-Weibo chart that is the benchmark of K-pop star’s popularity in the Chinese region, CNBLUE took the No.1 in the group section and group EXO’s member LAY took the No.1 in the individual artist section.
