[ISSUE is] Creating “sensation overseas” too… SECHSKIES’ “THREE WORDS” took No.1 on iTunes of Taiwan and No.2 on iTunes of Hong Kong

[일간스포츠=황소영 기자] SECHSKIES’ new song “THREE WORDS” is creating sensation overseas as well, upon its release. 

SECHSKIES released “THREE WORDS”, their first new song in 16 years, on October 7 at 0 o’clock. Upon the song’s release, it not only took No.1 on Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon, but also swept top ranks on Mnet, Genie, Olleh Music, Soribada, NAVER Music, Bugs, and Monkey3, to mark the successful comeback of SECHSKIES. 

SECHSKIES is showing great potential in overseas pop music scenes as well, taking high ranks on foreign charts. Currently, “THREE WORDS” is in No.1 on the iTunes chart of Taiwan; No.2 in Hong Kong; 11th in Singapore; 18th in Malaysia; 23rd in the Philippines; 41st in Thailand; and 93rd in Indonesia. 

“THREE WORDS” is a song of medium tempo. It sings about SECHSKIES’ heart for fans with whom they are reunited after long-time breakup. SECHSKIES is now opening a new chapter in their career, writing new history by sweeping music charts for the first time in 16 years since the release of their farewell album in 2000.
