[Exclusive] SECHSKIES to Appear on MBC’s Music Show for the First Time in 18 Years
[스타뉴스=길혜성 기자] SECHSKIES will perform on MBC’s music chart show for the first time in 18 years.
At 6 PM on April 28, SECHSKIES will release a new album titled “THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY”, the title tracks of which will be “SAD SONG” and “BE WELL”.
Star News found out on April 25 that SECHSKIES will be doing its comeback stage on MBC’s Show! Music Core a day after releasing its new album. The group is to perform “BE WELL” and “SAD SONG” on the show.
It’s been 18 years since SECHSKIES last appeared on a music chart show on MBC. SECHSKIES debuted in 1997 and before its break-up in 2000, the group gained enormous popularity. The last MBC music show that SECHSKIES appeared on was its Live Music Camp in 1999.
When SECHSKIES reunited after a 16-year break up last year, the group appeared on SBS’s Inkigayo but not on MBC’s Show! Music Core, and that’s why it’s been 18 years since SECHSKIES last came on a MBC music show. This is raising the expectations for SECHSKIE’s stage on Show! Music Core on April 29.
Meanwhile, SECHSKIES is to appear on SBS’s Inkigayo on April 20, the day after appearing on Show! Music Core, and perform “BE WELL” and “SAD SONG”.
