“Debut” ONE throws down the gauntlet to the music scene with “ONE DAY”, the debut song he wrote by himself
[일간스포츠=이미현 기자] Rapper ONE is making solo debut on July 11 with a debut song he wrote by himself.
Today (June 29) in the morning, YG Entertainment unveiled the title and credit of “ONE DAY”, ONE’s solo debut song and title track, on the company’s official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The lyrics of “ONE DAY” were written by ONE alone and the melody was written by ONE and other artists together. YG’s explanation that ONE has sharpened his song-writing capabilities for the past two years since his appearance in “Show Me the Money 4 and 5” has been turned out to be true.
One thing that is more interesting is that Cha Cha Malone who took part in the composition of ONE’s debut song is a producer of AOMG, not one of the many producers of YG. That is a collaboration expected by nobody.
Considering the style of YG’s head producer YANG HYUN SUK who is famous for being strict about the quality of music, people are keenly curious about the quality of ONE’s debut song written by ONE himself. Furthermore, the reason why ONE worked with producers of other music labels, not YG producers, is drawing keen attention as well.
