Video of YANG HYUN SUK Meeting 400 Contestants of Mix Nine was Revealed on Naver TV
[OSEN=김은애 기자] The contestants of JTBC’s Mix Nine were revealed.
On September 30, a video featuring Mix Nine’s contestants was revealed on Naver TV and YG’s official blog.
The video shows YG Entertainment head YANG HYUN SUK interviewing the contestants of Mix Nine. Over 400 participants from 70 entertainment agencies are going to participate in the show, and they are determined to make it to the finals.
It’s rare for audition programs to reveal not only the judges but also the contestants even before the beginning of the show. Other audition shows pick the contestants behind closed doors, but viewers will be able to see the entire auditioning process of all the contestants on Mix Nine. This is what makes Mix Nine so different from other audition programs.
The video features fresh faces as well as familiar faces, and this makes it more fun.
Mix Nine is HAN DONG CHUL’s first variety show since he joined YG. He produced Produce 101 and Show Me The Money while he was at CJ E&M. Mix Nine is a reality competition program in which YANG HYUN SUK visits entertainment companies in Korea to look for new stars.
A boy and a girl group each consisting of nine members will compete for the finals, and the winning team gets to debut. The show will feature YG artists and producers, raising the expectations for the show. The first episode of Mix Nine will air at 4:50 PM on October 29.
