[스타데일리뉴스=조수현기자] Girl group BABYMONSTER has topped the ‘K-POP RADAR’ Weekly Fandom Chart, proving their explosive global popularity.

On July 11, K-POP RADAR released its Weekly Fandom Chart, a growth rate-based ranking that shows which artists have seen the most fanbase expansion over the past week. This week’s No.1 spot went to BABYMONSTER’s latest track, HOT SAUCE.

The music video for HOT SAUCE recorded 41.81 million views during the second week of July (July 3~9, 2025), according to K-POP RADAR.

BABYMONSTER also saw a significant spike on Spotify, gaining 54,000 new followers in the same period. This figure is overwhelmingly higher compared to the K-pop average of 1,600 new followers.

Their performance on social media was also notable. BABYMONSTER’s Instagram followers grew by 33,000 over the week, while their Twitter follower count rose by 2,100. In comparison, the average increase for K-pop artists during that period was only 6,700 on Instagram and 182 on X.

A representative from K-POP RADAR stated, “BABYMONSTER topped the chart with more than 40 million music video views and also performed well on Spotify.”

This week’s Weekly Fandom Chart also saw new entries from rising groups. Newcomer group AHOF’s Rendezvous debuted at No.2, and HITGS’s CHARIZZMA landed at No.4. Additionally, ILLIT’s jellyous ranked No.6, while NCT DREAM’s BTTF came in at No.7.

The Weekly Fandom Chart is produced by K-POP RADAR (www.kpop-radar.com), a fandom data service operated by music startup Space Oddity. It is the only dedicated K-pop chart built on global platform data, reflecting the genre’s nature, where more than 90% of consumption comes from overseas audiences. The chart compiles comprehensive data including YouTube music video views, Spotify activity, and growth in X and Instagram followers, gaining trust for its fair and transparent methodology.

K-POP RADAR is a free service launched by SPACE ODDITY for the music industry, providing a clear overview of fanbase size and growth trends for all K-pop artists. It currently tracks real-time music video views, YouTube subscribers, and changes in X and Instagram followers for around 800 Korean teams through its website. It also garners attention each year with the release of the “K-POP World Map.”
