BABYMONSTER Confirms 27 Shows in 18 Cities for Upcoming World Tour… Anticipation Builds for ‘CHOOM’ Tour

[스포티비뉴스=김원겸 기자] Group BABYMONSTER has unveiled plans for an even larger-scale second world tour.
On the 11th, YG Entertainment posted “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR ‘CHOOM’ IN ASIA & OCEANIA” on its official blog. The poster reveals detailed schedules for the group’s new world tour spanning Asia and Oceania, following previously announced dates in Seoul and Japan.
According to the announcement, BABYMONSTER will visit eight cities in Asia Manila, Macau, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, and Hong Kong along with three cities in Oceania: Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Including the previously announced Seoul stop and six cities in Japan Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka the tour currently totals 27 shows across 18 cities.
In particular, the Osaka concert is drawing attention as it will be held at Kyocera Dome, one of Japan’s five major dome venues. It marks BABYMONSTER’s first dome concert just approximately two years and five months after debut, once again highlighting the group’s rapid growth and powerful global presence. The Oceania leg, which marks the group’s first-ever visit to the region, is also expected to draw enthusiastic responses from local fans who have long awaited their arrival.
Last year, BABYMONSTER drew approximately 300,000 attendees through its first world tour, “HELLO MONSTERS,” which consisted of 32 performances in 20 cities. As this new tour expands on an even larger scale, the group is expected to further solidify its influence as a “next-generation global girl group.”
YG stated, “As this is a large-scale tour spanning five continents, both the artists and staff are dedicating tremendous effort to deliver a high-quality production. We also ask for your continued interest in the schedules for Europe, North America, and South America, which will be announced at a later date.”
On the 4th, BABYMONSTER released its third mini album, “CHOOM.” The album topped the iTunes Albums Chart in 19 regions and reached No. 1 on the Worldwide Albums Chart. The title track “CHOOM” music video immediately ranked as YouTube’s “Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours” upon release and continues its steep upward trajectory, currently approaching 65 million views.
