[동아닷컴=최윤나 기자] Girl group BABYMONSTER has hinted at yet another fresh transformation with its new song ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA.’ Showcasing visuals that exude a confident aura within a soft mood, the group has further heightened anticipation among global fans.
On June 1, YG Entertainment released ‘[SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA] VISUAL PHOTO’ through its official blog. Following the individual teaser images highlighting each member’s unique charm, the newly unveiled content reveals BABYMONSTER’s team synergy as a complete group.
In the released photo, BABYMONSTER captivates attention with styling featuring soft pink and gray outfits complemented by elegant accessories. The members’ deep gazes and confident attitudes blend seamlessly within a classic yet gentle atmosphere, creating a distinctive mood unique to the group.
In particular, the visual concept presents a different charm from the kitschy and powerful image showcased during promotions for the group’s third mini album ‘CHOOM.’ From charismatic performances to calm and sophisticated sensibilities, BABYMONSTER once again demonstrates its versatility across a wide range of concepts.
The new song ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA’ will be released on June 8 at 12:00 a.m. As the group makes a rapid comeback approximately one month after its previous release, fan interest is running high. Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will kick off its second world tour from June 26 to 28 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. A total of 27 performances across 18 cities, including six cities in Japan, eight cities in Asia, and three cities in Oceania, are scheduled, with additional dates in Europe, North America, and South America to be announced later.
