Under the Leadership of Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK… TREASURE Surpasses 1 Million Pre-Orders with ‘Overwhelming Momentum’
[일간스포츠=유지희 기자] TREASURE has recorded 1 million pre-orders on the release day of its new mini album.
According to YG Entertainment on June 1, TREASURE’s fourth mini album, ‘NEW WAVE,’ surpassed 1 million pre-orders as of the previous day.
The album marks the group’s first release since debut in which all tracks are built on hip-hop-based sounds. Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK took the lead and oversaw the production of every track. Previously released teaser content had already hinted at TREASURE’s concept transformation through its black-and-white visual presentation.
The music video trailer for the title track ‘IF I’ has in fact exceeded 11 million views on YouTube.
TREASURE’s fourth mini album ‘NEW WAVE’ will be released at 6 p.m. today. The album contains a total of four tracks, including the title track ‘IF I,’ ‘ZOOM ZOOM,’ ‘NALLY-NA (HYUNHAYO)’ by rap unit CHOI HYUN SUK, HARUTO, and YOSHI, and ‘DANGER.’
Meanwhile, following its comeback, TREASURE will hold ‘TREASURE THE STAGE 2026 NEW WAVE :LIVE IN SEOUL’ for three days from June 19 to 21 at Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The group will then continue with fan concerts across eight cities in Japan, Osaka, Kanagawa, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukui, Fukuoka, and Tokyo, for a total of 20 performances.
