BABYMONSTER’s visuals reach a new level… A hip and sweet teaser surprise

On June 4, YG Entertainment officially launched the comeback countdown by releasing the music video teaser for the new digital single ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA’ through its official blog.
The teaser immediately drew viewers in by showcasing the members’ diverse and unexpected charms, ranging from refreshing lime green to chic blue and lovely pink tones, highlighting BABYMONSTER’s limitless ability to pull off various concepts. From the very beginning, the members’ precise dance lines and confident, hip attitude were more than enough to leave a strong impression.
Adding to the intrigue were kitschy scenes of the members carrying and tasting sweet desserts reminiscent of the song title, as well as witty direction that suddenly placed them in what appeared to be a news interview. These elements heightened curiosity about the story hidden within the full music video.
The newly revealed snippet of the track also captivated global fans, hinting at a megaton-level addictive quality. A sophisticated synth sound layered over a rhythmic, heavy bass line immediately caught the ear, while the catchy lyric, “I’m the sugar honey ice tea,” combined with the refreshing visual of a carbonated drink bursting open, amplified the song’s cool and refreshing mood.
