iKON’s BOBBY releases his first official solo song… Shooting music video as well, “Very powerful hip-hop music”
[스타뉴스=길혜성 기자] Idol group iKON (B.I, KIM JINHWAN, BOBBY, SONG YUNHYEONG, JU-NE, KIM DONGHYUK, and JUNG CHANWOO) will release his first-ever solo song.
On May 19 in the morning, iKON’s label YG Entertainment (“YG”) unveiled BOBBY’s photo on the company’s blog YG LIFE.
The photo also shows BOBBY message that goes, “I’ll shoot the music video of my first-ever solo song in a couple of days. It is a very intense and powerful hip-hop song, so I’m not sure if you’ll like it. Anyway, I’ll do my best”. That is a new way of YG’s promotion which uses social media channel’s concept. YG officially announced the release of BOBBY’s first solo song with such teaser image.
YG said, “BOBBY who was the winner of ‘Show Me the Money’ show in 2014 sang his hip-hop song for the competition in the show, but it is the first time for him to release a solo song from YG. He will also shoot the music video for the song”.
As the news about BOBBY’s first solo song has been officially announced, music fans are now paying keen attention to whether BOBBY’s solo song will be unveiled first or iKON’s new album will be released first.
