Yoo Byeong-jae in “꽃놀이패” said, “YG’s better to release albums of its singers faster rather than taking care of me”
[스포츠조선=최보란 기자] Yoo Byeong-jae in “FLOWER CREW” talked about his true feelings toward YG’s CEO YANG HYUN SUK.
In the production briefing of SBS TV’s new show “FLOWER CREW” held on August 22 at 11AM at SBS Hall located in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Yoo said, “I appreciate Mr. YANG’s support, but it would have been better if he had taken care of me in secret.”
“FLOWER CREW” drew big attention from people, as it was known that YG decided to co-produce the show with SBS based on YANG HYUN SUK’s strong initiative, after YANG heard Yoo Byeong-jae saying he had not appeared in that many TV shows since he joined YG.
At the briefing, Jo Se-ho said, “The reason why ‘FLOWER CREW’ could be included in SBS TV’s regular programming was all because of Yoo Byeong-jae. If this show succeeds, it is because of Yoo and if it fails, it is because of Yoo as well.”
Yoo answered, “Actually, I feel really burdened, because they say it is all because of me. I think it is better for Mr. YANG to release singers’ albums faster rather than taking care of me.”, to make attendees of the briefing burst into big laughter.
“FLOWER CREW” is a whole new format of a TV show in which viewers directly select the fate of six celebrity cast members during their trip of two nights and three days through real-time voting on NAVER TV-LIVE. Two new members Eun Jiwon and Lee Jaijin were added to existing members Seo Jang-hoon, Ahn Jeong-hwan, Jo Se-ho, and Yoo Byeong-jae. BTS’s JungKook and actor Kim Min-seok who appeared in the pilot version of the show were excluded from the fixed cast. The first episode of the show will be aired on September 5 at 11PM.
