‘Comeback’ TREASURE Reveals Track List… Member ASAHI Participates as Writer·Composer

On October 29, YG Entertainment uploaded the track list poster for TREASURE’s third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ through their official blog.
The new album track list showing the members’ high participation rate grabbed the viewers’ attention.
Members YOSHI, CHOI HYUN SUK, and HARUTO were credited as writers on 3 consecutive albums, while ASAHI was credited as not only the writer but also as a composer for the first time. Since it will be an album showing TREASURE’s clear musical color and growth, it is expected that the global fans will pay keen attention.
Their upcoming single album will contain a total of 4 tracks, including 2 new songs and their instrumental versions. The two songs are ‘MMM’, the Hip-hop genre title track, and ‘ORANGE’. ‘ORANGE’ was produced by ASAHI, who has been working on making songs before making debut, showing his passion and talent on creating music. It is expected that the members of TREASURE will participate in writing and composing songs more often in the future.
The rappers of TREASURE including CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO were in charge of the rap making of ‘MMM’. It is CHOI HYUN SUK and HARUTO’s fifth time participating following their participation on ‘BOY’, ‘COME TO ME’, ‘I LOVE YOU’, and ‘B.L.T’.
Besides the track list, detailed information on the music listed on TREASURE’s third single album is still in veil. However, YG has previously revealed that TREAUSRE’s title track ‘MMM’ is a typical Hip-hop track with 80 BPM. The global fans who support YG’s music are highly anticipating the fact that TREASURE will be releasing a Hip-hop song, which is one of YG’s biggest strengths.
TREASURE presented a fierce vibe while wearing black and orange outfits on the track list poster. The people are paying keen attention to their comeback as they’ve tried to transform their image not only through music, but also visually.
TREASURE has expanded their influence significantly in the global music market under YG’s fast·concentration strategy after their debut back in August 7. The 2 single albums they’ve released until now have sold almost 500 thousand copies, while songs ‘BOY’ and ‘I LOVE YOU’ were placed on the top ranks of various global charts in Japan and China, proving the group’s strong presence.
TREASURE’s third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ will be released on November 6. Physical copies including the 2 new songs and their instrumental versions will become available on November 13 through YG SELECT and nationwide retailers online and offline.
