[동아닷컴=최윤나 기자] BABYMONSTER has unveiled the first visuals for their new song “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” featuring ASA and CHIQUITA, capturing attention with a completely different atmosphere from their previous concepts.

YG Entertainment released the visual photos for the new digital single “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” through its official blog on the 28th. Showcasing a mood distinct from the hip vibe seen in their previous promotions, the images hint at a brand-new musical world and immediately draw the eye.

The stars of the first teaser were ASA and CHIQUITA. ASA attempted a bold transformation with long black hair, while CHIQUITA amplified her elegant charm with bright red hair. Together, the two completed a sophisticated yet lovely visual synergy, radiating a powerful presence.

In particular, their captivating gazes and confident aura heightened curiosity surrounding the concept of the new track. Adding to the intrigue, a teacup set object that intuitively evokes the song title also appeared, drawing even more attention.

Previously, YG Entertainment introduced “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA” as “BABYMONSTER’s signature summer song that will cool off the intense heat, as the title suggests.” As a result, anticipation is growing not only for the members’ visuals to be revealed sequentially, but also for the new music and performances BABYMONSTER is set to showcase.

BABYMONSTER is also continuing its global activities. The group is currently carrying out its second world tour across a total of 18 cities with 27 shows, including Seoul, six cities in Japan, eight cities across Asia, and three cities in Oceania. Additional stops in Europe, North America, and South America are also scheduled to be announced later.

Meanwhile, since their debut, BABYMONSTER has rapidly expanded its global fandom through powerful performances and stable live skills, and is expected to undergo yet another transformation through “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA.”
