DAESUNG’s Japan solo tour adds more concerts: 15 in 8 cities
[enews24 이경남 기자] BIGBANG’s DAESUNG confirmed to hold additional concerts at Osaka-jo Hall for his solo arena tour titled “D-LITE Tour 2014 in Japan.”
DAESUNG, starting with Yokohama Arena on June 11 (Wed), will then move on to Kobe World Memorial Hall, Marinemesse Fukuoka, Budoukan and continue his journey to Osaka-jo Hall for 2 days on July 26 (Sat) and 27 (Sun). More than 200,000 ticket subscriptions came through for DAESUNG’s Arena Tour in Japan, and thanks to their enthusiasm, a total of 15 concerts in 8 cities have been finalized.
DAESUNG unveiled his Japanese solo debut album D’scover last February, and broke the record for a South Korean solo artist by ranking #2 on Oricon Album Weekly Chart. Thanks to the local fans’ keenness to see DAESUNG, he held his first solo tour “D-LITE D’scover Tour 2013 in Japan,” travelling across 20 cities to perform 26 times in front of more than 100,000 enthusiastic Japanese fans.
Early this year with the rest of BIGBANG members he successfully attracted 771,000 fans to BIGBANG Japan 6 Largest Dome Tour while leaving 100,000 fans in awe at the “YG Family World Tour 2014 POWER in Japan” held on April 12 (Sat) and 13 (Sun) at Osaka Kyocera Dome.
DAESUNG, who is receiving highly positive reviews in Japan as a solo artist, is scheduled to unveil a new solo album: a follower of his debut album “D’scover” and his single ‘I LOVE YOU.’ All eyes are on the new album of the singer who is truly well-equipped with soulful yet powerful voice.
