AKMU’s Surprise Release of New Song “Time and Fallen Leaves” on the 10
[동아닷컴 정준화 기자] AKMU, a brother and sister loved by every Korean releases their new song “Time and Fallen Leaves” and sings the emotions of autumn.
AKMU’s label YG Entertainment announced the news, by posting a poster that hints on the release of AKMU’s new song on the 9 at 0am, on YG’s official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The poster shows the feeling of the autumn, with an image that symbolizes “time” and “fallen leaves”. At the bottom, a phrase “10. 10 0AM” is written, suggesting that the song will be released on the 10 a 0am.
AKMU’s new song “Time and Fallen Leaves” is a hidden track that was not released in AKMU’s debut album “PLAY” that was unveiled in April this year. Like all the other songs in the debut album, “Time and Fallen Leaves” is also written and composed by LEE CHAN HYUK.
“Time and Fallen Leaves” is a song of a pop genre, with tender string section and impressive piano sound. It is drawing much attention, as it is known to have a new color different from other songs of AKMU.
Meanwhile, AKMU made their debut in April and has been enjoying popularity until now, with “200%”, “Give Love”, and other songs that well express AKMU’s unique emotions and wits. They dominated the No.1 on domestic music charts upon their debut and recently has been recognized for their talent and popularity, being selected as the only K-Pop star and Asian singer in Billboard’s “21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2014” ranking.
