BABYMONSTER Makes Lightning-Fast Comeback in Just One Month… New Single to Drop on June 8

On the 26th, agency YG Entertainment (hereafter YG) announced, “BABYMONSTER will release its new digital single ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA’ on June 8.”
This marks a lightning-fast comeback following the group’s third mini album [CHOOM], released on the 4th. Previously, YG had stated that it would improve its internal systems in order to support more active promotions for its artists and shorten album production timelines.
In the teaser poster released together with the announcement, neon green colors stood out against a street-style mood background, instantly capturing attention. The typography engraved across the image left a powerful impact.
YG stated, “As you can tell from the title ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,’ this will be BABYMONSTER’s signature ‘summer song’ that cools down the summer heat,” adding, “Not only promotions for the new song, but also music videos for tracks from [CHOOM] are being prepared, and we plan to fully pack this summer together with our fans.”
BABYMONSTER released its third mini album and title track “CHOOM” on the 4th and is currently carrying out active promotions. The group will kick off its second world tour with a three-day concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium from June 26 to 28.
